About

This is me.

I left my previous firm in 2020 after 17 years (10 as a lawyer). The COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with six months of working from home, made me realise there was a better way to practise law—one that allows me to better serve my clients on my own terms.

You'll see my motto is "doing law differently." Running my own practice has given me the freedom to tailor my approach to suit each client’s individual needs, making the legal process as smooth and stress-free as possible. My aim is to handle the paperwork and red tape so you can focus on what matters most to you.

As a sole practitioner, I offer consistent communication and reliable support throughout your matter. You’ll work directly with me from start to finish, allowing us to build a trusted and dependable relationship—a benefit that can be hard to find in larger firms.

I am based in the Ballarat region and assist clients across Australia in matters involving the purchase and sale of real estate in Victoria, estates where the deceased held assets in Victoria, and wills, powers of attorney, and other life planning documents for Victorian residents.

I hold a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in history) from the University of New England in northern New South Wales. After graduating in 2008, I completed a supervised workplace traineeship at Rhonda G. Wilkinson in Ballarat and was admitted to practice in 2010. I continued practising with Rhonda through the firm’s evolution into Nevett Wilkinson Frawley in 2011, primarily in the areas of deceased estates, wills, and conveyancing, before starting my own practice.

When I'm not "lawyering" (a word I may or may not have made up), my family is my top priority. I also enjoy travelling, photography and reading in my limited free time. My office is mobile and often includes two furry co-workers, Max (pictured with me above) and Jeffrey—one of whom has a very loud voice. My apologies in advance if he decides to contribute to a phone conversation!
