Costs
I understand that costs are a concern when hiring a lawyer. In general, we're an expensive breed. We have high overheads and we paid a lot of money to become qualified and remain entitled to practice. But that doesn't mean you should be ripped off. That's why I make the following commitments to you regarding your fees:
You will always be charged a fixed fee for your matter. This means you will never be charged more for my professional services than the written quote I've given you, unless you ask me to do more work for you than we originally agreed on.
I don't charge by the hour, so please don't feel rushed. I am not watching the clock when we are speaking, I am listening to you.
You won't be charged extra for photocopying, printing or telephone call costs.
If you have difficulty paying your bill, you can request a payment plan.
For most matters, I will need to discuss the scope of the matter with you and determine what it is that I actually need to do for you to provide you with a fee estimate (and also see if there is anything you can do for yourself to save costs). However, in general, I will charge the following rates for straightforward matters:

Drafting a basic will and providing to you to arrange your own signing $240.00
